In addition to serving as President & CEO, Todd serves as Fund Administrator for the Incompass Michigan Self-Insured Group Workers’ Compensation Fund.

He has been with the Association since 1995, also serving as Project Director and Assistant Director.

Todd serves on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Nonprofit Association, and the BOOM (Be Our Own Motivation) Awards, a statewide recognition program for individuals with disabilities.

He holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in English Language and Literature from The University of Michigan.

Laurie has a diverse background in marketing, leadership, and entrepreneurial and economic development. 

She is the founder of Lean In Michigan, a peer mentorship network for women leaders, and a Lean In Network Leader, working to create a more equitable world.

Laurie is involved with various initiatives that support youth who have experienced foster care and currently serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for Guiding Life to Independence through Development and Education.

Laurie is a successful alumna of the Incompass Michigan Leadership Academy and The Leadership Continuum. She is also a National Diversity Council Certified Diversity Professional.

Karen has been employed at the Association for over 25 years.  She is the primary point of contact for Incompass Michigan Workers' Compensation Fund members.

Joe joined the Incompass Michigan team after an extensive 40-year career in the human service industry, working in senior leadership positions for Incompass Michigan member organizations. He has a strong history of developing state of the art programs and services that have successfully supported a variety of populations; including returning citizens, persons with disabilities, at-risk youth, people living with mental illness, and families living in poverty.   

Joe also has been very active in developing collaborative partnerships, new funding streams, and grant opportunities. He has successfully applied for and received funding from private foundations and public funding sources. He has developed effective licensed occupational training schools, and prosperous new social enterprises during his career.  

As the Member Ambassador, Joe provides current member organizations with support and assistance needed to reach their strategic goals, to grow new programs, and to access new funding sources.  He assists members in staying connected with the association, and provides outreach to recruit new association members.

Katie recently joined Incompass Michigan in October 2021. She specializes in online course design, certification of courses, graphic design, streamlining processes, and learning technology management.   

In May 2021, she obtained a Master's in Education with a focus in learning design from Wayne State University.  

Katie will be focusing on managing the Incompass Michigan online educational courses and events until in-person courses resume. She serves as a technical support for members in relation to trainings.  

Brylea Johnson is sophomore at Michigan State University studying Political Science with a minor in Peace and Justice studies. She has joined the Incompass Michigan team as a Policy Intern for Spring Semester 2022 through a Work Study opportunity supported by Project VISIONS of Hannahville Indian Community. Brylea shares "I have worked closely with VISIONS and its members for a few years now and I couldn’t have asked for a better program to be a part of. I am also extremely grateful for them introducing me to Todd and Laurie and for making this all possible." She will assist with policy and advocacy projects related to Direct Support Professionals, member impact and the value of employment, as well as updating our member advocacy resources to reflect virtual best practices.
